In this Monday, Jan. 25, 2010 photo, the Freedom Tower located on Hickam Air Force Base in Honolulu stands 171 feet tall and is one of the air force bases' most recognizable landmarks. During the Japanese attack on Dec. 7, 1941 the Japanese pilots did not shoot at the tower believing it was a religious shrine.
