Salient features of F-84 Thunderjet planes, which have been shooting down Russian-built MIG-15s in North Korea on Jan. 23, 1951. The F-84 built by Republic Aviation Corporation, weighs about 10,500 pounds when empty; its gross weight with normal armament is 16,000 pounds; it can be loaded up to 24,000 pounds.
