LONDON BOMB SHELTERS

Share This Photo:

Some of the London flat dwellers outside their shelters, in London on Sept. 24, 1940. London flat dwellers, who have no gardens in which to erect Anderson shelters, are provided with surface shelters of strong brick construction which are blast and splinter-proof. Families, who are patronizing them with gusto, are making them miniature homes from home with furniture, beds, parlous games and electric light, where nearness to their homes makes it possible to the take in a lead. "Thank you so much! I honestly wasn't expecting something so quickly or customer service to be so cordial. Lately it seems like that has gone by the wayside. I sincerely appreciate what you've done. I will highly recommend your photo service to anyone looking for what you provide! "

– Kellie B. from Washington
