The Connecticut women's basketball team claims the 2010 National Championship Title. The University of Connecticut Women's Basketball team is the most prominent team in U.S. women's college basketball. Under Head Coach Geno Auriemma, the Huskies have won 7 National Championships, advanced to 11 Final Fours, and won over 30 Big East Conference Championships. UConn has also been one of the leaders in women's basketball attendance and has produced several Olympians and WNBA All Stars. The team has been especially successful on its home court in the Harry A. Gampel Pavilion in Storrs, Connecticut.
